শচী আসি’ কহে,—কেনে অশুচি ছুঁইলা ।

śacī āsi’ kahe, — kene aśuci chuṅilā
gaṅgā-snāna kara yāi’ — apavitra ha-ilā
gaṅgā-snāna kara yāi’ — apavitra ha-ilā

Translation
When mother Śacī saw her boy sitting on the rejected pots, she protested, “Why have You touched these untouchable pots? You have now become impure. Go and bathe in the Ganges.”
