দুই গুচ্ছ তৃণ দুঁহে দশনে ধরিঞা ।
গলে বস্ত্র বান্ধি’ পড়ে দণ্ডবৎ হঞা ॥ ১৮৫ ॥

dui guccha tṛṇa duṅhe daśane dhariñā
gale vastra bāndhi’ paḍe daṇḍavat hañā
gale vastra bāndhi’ paḍe daṇḍavat hañā

Translation
In great humility, both brothers took bunches of straw between their teeth and, each binding a cloth around his neck, fell down like rods before the Lord.
