শান্তরসে — ‘স্বরূপবুদ্ধ্যে কৃষ্ণৈকনিষ্ঠতা’ ।
“শমো মন্নিষ্ঠতা বুদ্ধেঃ” ইতি শ্ৰীমুখ-গাথা ॥ ২১১ ॥
śānta-rase — ‘svarūpa-buddhye kṛṣṇaika-niṣṭhatā’
“śamo man-niṣṭhatā buddheḥ” iti śrī-mukha-gāthā

Synonyms

śānta-rasein the stage of śānta-rasa, or neutrality; svarūpa-buddhyeby self-realization; kṛṣṇa-eka-niṣṭhatāfull devotion to the lotus feet of Kṛṣṇa; śamaḥequilibrium; matto Me; niṣṭhatāthe quality of attachment; buddheḥof the mind; itithus; śrī-mukhafrom the mouth of the Supreme Lord; gāthāa verse.

Translation

“When one is fully attached to Kṛṣṇa’s lotus feet, one attains the śamatā stage. The word ‘śamatā’ is derived from the word ‘śama’; therefore śānta-rasa, the position of neutrality, means being fully attached to the lotus feet of Kṛṣṇa. This is the verdict from the mouth of the Supreme Personality of Godhead Himself. This state is called self-realization.
