সেই ভূঞার সঙ্গে হয় হাতগণিতা ।
ভূঞার কাণে কহে সেই জানি’ এই কথা ॥ ১৮ ॥

sei bhūñāra saṅge haya hāta-gaṇitā
bhūñāra kāṇe kahe sei jāni’ ei kathā
bhūñāra kāṇe kahe sei jāni’ ei kathā

Translation
A man who was expert in palmistry was at that time staying with the landlord. Knowing about Sanātana, he whispered the following in the landlord’s ear.
