ইত্থং সতাং ব্রহ্মসুখানুভূত্যা দাস্যং গতানাং পরদৈবতেন ।
মায়াশ্রিতানাং নরদারকেণ সার্ধং বিজহ্রুঃ কৃতপুণ্যপুঞ্জাঃ ॥ ৭৫ ॥
itthaṁ satāṁ brahma-sukhānubhūtyā
dāsyaṁ gatānāṁ para-daivatena
māyāśritānāṁ nara-dārakeṇa
sārdhaṁ vijahruḥ kṛta-puṇya-puñjāḥ

Synonyms

itthamin this way; satāmof persons who prefer the impersonal feature of the Lord; brahmaof the impersonal effulgence; sukhaby the happiness; anubhūtyāwho is realized; dāsyamthe mode of servitude; gatānāmof those who have accepted; para-daivatenawho is the supreme worshipable Deity; māyā-āśritānāmfor ordinary persons under the clutches of the external energy; nara-dārakeṇawith Him, who is like a boy of this material world; sārdhamin friendship; vijahruḥplayed; kṛta-puṇya-puñjāḥthose who have accumulated volumes of pious activities.

Translation

“ ‘Neither those engaged in the self-realization of appreciating the Brahman effulgence of the Lord, nor those engaged in devotional service while accepting the Supreme Personality of Godhead as master, nor those under the clutches of Māyā, thinking the Lord an ordinary person, can understand that certain exalted personalities, after accumulating volumes of pious activities, are now playing with the Lord in friendship as cowherd boys.’ ”

Purport

This is a statement made by Śukadeva Gosvāmī (Bhāg. 10.12.11), who appreciated the good fortune of the cowherd boys who played with Kṛṣṇa and ate with Him on the banks of the Yamunā.
