श्रीशुक उवाच
गोपा नन्दादय: श्रुत्वा द्रुमयो: पततोरवम् ।
तत्राजग्मु: कुरुश्रेष्ठ निर्घातभयशङ्किता: ॥ १ ॥
śrī-śuka uvāca
gopā nandādayaḥ śrutvā
drumayoḥ patato ravam
tatrājagmuḥ kuru-śreṣṭha
nirghāta-bhaya-śaṅkitāḥ

Synonyms

Translation

Śukadeva Gosvāmī continued: O Mahārāja Parīkṣit, when the yamala-arjuna trees fell, all the cowherd men in the neighborhood, hearing the fierce sound and fearing thunderbolts, went to the spot.
