अर्चितं पुनरित्याह नारायण जगत्पते ।
आत्मानन्देन पूर्णस्य करवाणि किमल्पक: ॥ ३८ ॥
arcitaṁ punar ity āha
nārāyaṇa jagat-pate
ātmānandena pūrṇasya
karavāṇi kim alpakaḥ

Synonyms

arcitamto Him who had been worshiped; punaḥfurther; itias follows; āhahe (King Nagnajit) said; nārāyaṇaO Nārāyaṇa; jagatof the universe; pateO Lord; ātmawithin Himself; ānandenawith pleasure; pūrṇasyafor Him who is full; karavāṇimay I do; kimwhat; alpakaḥinsignificant.

Translation

King Nagnajit first worshiped the Lord properly and then addressed Him: “O Nārāyaṇa, Lord of the universe, You are full in Your own spiritual pleasure. Therefore what can this insignificant person do for You?”
