āvṛtam – covered; jñānam – pure consciousness; etena – by this; jñāninaḥ

In his pure state of existence he is meant to dovetail his activities in devotional service to the Supreme

enam – this; jñāna – of knowledge; vijñāna – and scientific knowledge of the pure

A living entity, as part and parcel of the Supreme, is originally spiritual, pure, and free from all

sincerely without consideration of defeat and hopelessness, he will surely be promoted to the stage of pure

Therefore, lust is the greatest enemy of the living entity, and it is lust only which induces the pure

being influenced by the material senses and the mind – by steady intelligence directed toward one’s pure

There are three degrees of covering of the living entity by which his pure consciousness is obscured.
