The name Nārāyaṇa has the full potency of the Supreme Personality of Godhead – Nārāyaṇa, or Kṛṣṇa. By chanting the holy name of Kṛṣṇa, we make immediate contact with Kṛṣṇa Himself. Thus there is no difference between Kṛṣṇa and His name.
