Prabhupāda: Higher knowledge. Higher knowledge.

Prabhupāda: Everything depends on knowledge. Without knowledge, how can we make progress? Student means to acquire knowledge. Serious student means to acquire knowledge.

So knowledge from the authority is perfect. Knowledge by mental speculation is always imperfect. If you get knowledge, any knowledge, from the perfect, that knowledge is perfect. And if you get knowledge from imperfect, that knowledge is always imperfect. This is our process. One must approach the superior who is in knowledge. Then he gets the knowledge.

Knowledge is knowledge. It cannot be changed because there is secular, pecular and [indistinct]. Knowledge is knowledge. Just like this asmin dehe dehino 'smin. What is secular knowledge? It is knowledge for everyone. Within this body the active principle is there. And the secular knowledge says, "No, no, the active principle is outside." We have to accept it? Knowledge is knowledge. Two plus two is equal to everyone, everywhere. It is four.

Prabhupāda: Their knowledge is "perhaps." It is nonsense. They have no definite knowledge. "Perhaps" is not knowledge.

Prabhupāda: This is knowledge, path of knowledge.

Prabhupāda: Yes, that requires knowledge. That requires how to get that knowledge. He has no such knowledge.

That is the knowledge. Jñāna means knowledge. That knowledge is the Supreme.

And our process of knowledge, Veda... Veda means knowledge. Vetti veda vido jñāne. Supreme knowledge, perfect knowledge, that is Veda.

Prabhupāda: There are books, knowledge books, books of knowledge. Therefore I am speaking of Vedic knowledge.

Prabhupāda: Knowledge means that you must know what you are. This is knowledge. If you don't know what you are, then what is the meaning of your knowledge? That is real knowledge. On the basis of this real knowledge, whatever is done, that is done in knowledge; otherwise it is done Knowledge and difference.

So this knowledge when understood along with the science behind it is called realized knowledge. So realized knowledge of the Absolute Truth, realized knowledge of the soul, and realized knowledge of The Lord is himself imparting knowledge about the Absolute Truth. athāto brahma-jijñāsā. This human form of life is for gaining knowledge about Brahman, transcendence. There is no need to gain any other knowledge. What knowledge can you gain?

Patel: And knowledge means this knowledge.

Therefore the whole process of knowledge is... I think some of my student, she is present here. She asked me, "What is knowledge?" The knowledge is that "I am not this body." This is knowledge. Knowledge does not mean that how you can manufacture nuclear weapon. That is not knowledge. Real knowledge is to know the simple fact that "I am not this body." That's all. But that knowledge is very rare. And to acquire that knowledge, there are so many systems.

That is the topmost knowledge. That is transcendental knowledge. That is not material knowledge. Material knowledge, if you write some book, it has no meaning, because it is defective. But Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam is not ordinary knowledge. It is transcendental knowledge.

Knowledge is knowledge. Wherever knowledge is available, you must pick up. So knowledge...

What is the value of their knowledge? Therefore knowledge, man of knowledge required.

Kīrtanānanda: They say that real knowledge is to know that there is no such thing as absolute knowledge but simply this process of searching for knowledge.
