Knowledge is knowledge.

[break] Degrees of knowledge, standard of knowledge, just like animals knowledge, dogs knowledge and your knowledge that is different. So your knowledge and the scientists knowledge that is different. That does not mean because one is advanced little than your knowledge he has become God.

So if you have full Kṛṣṇa knowledge, then you have got Brahman knowledge and Paramātmā knowledge. But if you have got simply Brahman knowledge or Paramātmā knowledge, you have no Kṛṣṇa knowledge.

I have already explained that our process of accepting knowledge is the paramparā system. There are two ways of acquiring knowledge = āroha-panthā and avaroha-panthā. Knowledge coming from the authorities, that is perfect knowledge, and knowledge acquired by experimental knowledge, that is not perfect.

According to the Bhagavad-gītā, one may not be a learned man just because he has received a lot of education

Prabhupāda: That knowledge... Just like we are getting this knowledge. Kṛṣṇa came. Kṛṣṇa is giving us the knowledge. You can get the knowledge and make your life perfect.

Prabhupāda: Perfection of knowledge means to understand God. That is perfection of knowledge. Otherwise, it is imperfect knowledge. Therefore it is called Vedānta. Veda means knowledge.

I neither know where I’ve come from nor where I’m going, but people are calling me educated. We may be proud of our academic education, but if asked what we are, we are not able to say. Only after realizing that we are not these bodies can we enter into real knowledge and understand what This, then, is the beginning of knowledge.

Cāṇakya Paṇḍita gives the standard for education, or the qualification of a paṇḍita, in this way: “The It is therefore to be understood that one is to be considered educated in accordance with his vision

So knowledge has not developed with the development of the brain of the living entities. Knowledge is already there. Therefore Vedic knowledge is considered to be the perfect. And if we take knowledge from the Vedas, then our knowledge is perfect. Now here is the knowledge.

Brahmā imparted this knowledge to Nārada. Nārada imparted this knowledge to Vyāsadeva. That..., this is our process of knowledge. We get knowledge from the superior. Everyone gets knowledge from the superior. Nobody gets knowledge automatically.

So if you take knowledge, scientific knowledge, from the Vedas, you save the time. That is deductive knowledge. You take the knowledge from the perfect and you get perfect knowledge: yasmin vijñāte sarvam evaṁ vijñātaṁ

Prabhupāda: This is knowledge. Etaj jñānam. The items prescribed by Kṛṣṇa, that is knowledge. And everything is no knowledge. Translation, you read.

Prabhupāda: Without bhakti, knowledge is artificial, because knowledge means to accept the Supreme Lord That is knowledge.

Prabhupāda: For knowledge. So take knowledge from me.

Prabhupāda: Anyway, some knowledge is also knowledge. That you cannot deny. So knowledge is essential. You have to accept. This is also knowledge. Somebody is studying my leg. And that is essential knowledge. Knowledge is essential. come to that complete knowledge, which is called absolute knowledge.

Knowledge means culture. Just like we were discussing. This is the process of knowledge = inquiry from right person and take the answer. That is knowledge. Just like a child takes knowledge from his father = "Father, what is this?" He gives knowledge. So you must inquire rightly from the right person. Then you get knowledge. This is the process of knowledge.
