Prabhupāda: So that is our real position, gopī-bhartuḥ Kṛṣṇa and the servant of Kṛṣṇa who is always engaged 24 hours in the service of the lotus feet of Kṛṣṇa. If we accept such devotee as my master, gopī-bhartuḥ pada-kamalayor dāsa-dāsānu-dāsa. They are no more Americans or Canadians or Australians they are thinking as eternal servant of Kṛṣṇa, gopī-bhartuḥ pada-kamalayor dāsa-dāsānu-dāsa.

So the students came and saw Lord Caitanya was chanting "Gopī gopī," so they objected. They said, "Oh, why You are chanting 'gopī gopī'? Why You do not chant 'Kṛṣṇa,' 'Hare Kṛṣṇa'?" In the beginning, His appearance is in the form of gopī, to love Kṛṣṇa.
