Prabhupāda: So that is our real position, gopī-bhartuḥ Kṛṣṇa and the servant of Kṛṣṇa who is always engaged 24 hours in the service of the lotus feet of Kṛṣṇa. If we accept such devotee as my master, gopī-bhartuḥ pada-kamalayor dāsa-dāsānu-dāsa. They are no more Americans or Canadians or Australians they are thinking as eternal servant of Kṛṣṇa, gopī-bhartuḥ pada-kamalayor dāsa-dāsānu-dāsa.

So the students came and saw Lord Caitanya was chanting "Gopī gopī," so they objected. They said, "Oh, why You are chanting 'gopī gopī'? Why You do not chant 'Kṛṣṇa,' 'Hare Kṛṣṇa'?" In the beginning, His appearance is in the form of gopī, to love Kṛṣṇa.

So one day it so happened that instead of chanting "Hare Kṛṣṇa," Lord Caitanya was chanting, "Gopī, gopī , gopī, gopī, gopī," instead of chanting "Kṛṣṇa, Kṛṣṇa."

Kṛṣṇa is the supreme bliss. We therefore see Kṛṣṇa always enjoying = jaya rādhā-mādhava kuñja-bihārī. That is Kṛṣṇa. And gopī-jana-vallabha, He is very dear to the gopīs or the gopas, gopī jana, in Vṛndāvana. Gopī-jana-vallabha giri-vara-dhārī. And because He loves the gopīs and the inhabitants of Vṛndāvana so much, as soon as there is some danger

Just like Kṛṣṇa is revealing in the Bhagavad-gītā to Arjuna. Arjuna is a devotee, and he is submissive. And he is friend also. Therefore Kṛṣṇa is revealing to Kṛṣṇa..., ah, to Arjuna. This Bhagavad-gītā is spoken to Arjuna, not to any Vedāntist or speculationist.

Just like Kṛṣṇa is instructing Arjuna. Kṛṣṇa is instructing Arjuna, and we have to understand how Arjuna has understood Kṛṣṇa. And if we follow the understanding of Arjuna, then we are following the paramparā system, or the disciplic

tūrṇam aśeṣa-maṇḍala-pati-śreṇīṁ sadā tucchavat bhūtvā dīna-gaṇeśakau karuṇayā kaupīna-kanthāśritau, gopī-bhāva-rasāmṛtābdhi-laharī-kallola-magnau Always thinking of the pastimes of the gopīs with Kṛṣṇa. That was their life substance: how Kṛṣṇa..., gopī-jana-vallabha. They are thinking of Kṛṣṇa as gopī-jana-vallabha. That is Kṛṣṇa's business. Rādhā-mādhava gopī-jana-vallabha. So how gopī-jana-vallabha was dealing, they were always thinking.

And the most elevated Gopi amongst them is Radharani. Anayaradhitah iti radha..

[break] Kṛṣṇa and Arjuna. The Kṛṣṇa and Arjuna saṁvāda.

They have paintings also of Kṛṣṇa with the gopīs, stealing their clothes, Kṛṣṇa and Arjuna on the chariot

They understood what is gopī-jana-vallabha. Gopī-bhāva-rasa. That is just like ocean. Rasāmṛtābdhi. Gopī-jana-vallabha.

, Kṛṣṇa-Balarāma, Mother Yaśodā's sons, Yaśodā-nandana, Rohiṇī-nandana. Kṛṣṇa's only business is how to deal with gopīs. Gopī-jana-rañjana. And... Gopī-jana-rañjana?

Devotee: Did Kṛṣṇa have children by the gopīs?

Arjuna is hearing from Kṛṣṇa, and Kṛṣṇa is speaking to Arjuna directly. How fortunate is Arjuna, that he is directly hearing from Kṛṣṇa, the Supreme Personality of Godhead.

The first thing is how much eager you are to see Kṛṣṇa. Kṛṣṇa will respond. If you are actually eager to see Kṛṣṇa... different---either you are lusty or to steal His ornament, or ---some way or other you become attracted to Kṛṣṇa It is on the matter of the gopīs talking. One gopī is advising another gopī that "My dear friend..."

And Caitanya Mahāprabhu's life was to love Kṛṣṇa: gopī-bhāva-rasāmṛtābdhi-laharī-kallola-magnau [Ṣaḍ-gosvāmy-aṣṭaka
